Diary of an Ascending Addict

Woke up with a new level of alignment and bursts of pure bliss. Healing. And a beautiful guidance extracted from the Quran. It just came to me this morning on the wings of a YouTube channel I’d never seen before. YouTube is helping me right now, actually it’s been my window out into the world for a in my sacred isolation.

I am not a religious person, I’m a spiritual person, in that I know I am spirit embodied in human form. As we all are.

Alan Watts said it best. The only Jew is Moses. The only Christian is Jesus and the only Muslim is Mohamed.

They’re the ones who experienced, lived and breathed their enlightenment first hand. Not to denigrate the millions of people who draw inspiration and faith from their specific light. On the contrary, I respect all religions and peoples’ beliefs and faith. I think the prophets individual “stories”, are filled with light, wisdom and hope, helping so many over time. Each one of them was a huge portal of light, as we all are once awakened. But organized religion can also be a double-edged sword. The worst crimes can be committed in its name.

But since I was very young, I’ve had this certainty that connection with God, the universe, Source, was to be experienced individually, just like it was by all the saints, bodhisattvas, masters and prophets that embodied on Earth.

Anyway, suffice it to say that this Ayah taken from the Quran resonated with me today.
